Mamas Against Violence (MAV) is a non-profit organization. The organization was founded in 2003, after an alarming increase of lives lost to  homicides. MAV’s mission is to offer emotional support, encouragement, and prayer to mothers and anyone who has been affected by gun violence. We also seek to increase AWARENESS, educate, and promote the PREVENTION of violence. Mamas Against Violence works within the community, with youth, families, businesses, law enforcement, schools, churches, and other organizations to raise awareness and promote prevention against violence. We stand against the violence. Enough is enough- Let's Stop the Violence.
